Two things

These are two great things I learned today while on The Bump!

1.  There is an Etsy shop that carries knitted hats for babies and OMG, they are the most adorable things ever!  Here's a picture of Tony in his sock monkey hat in which we chose to add the color Orange:

The Etsy shop is called "Grandma made this".  And the little girl in most of the pictures is the grand-daughter of the shop owner.  She's a precious little one!  Here's the link to this wonderful site:

2.  I learned all about Baby-led weaning.  It's something I had never heard before.  It's where you let your child eat whatever you are eating starting at 6 months and it allows the child to explore the food more and become a better eater.  It's definitely something worth looking into for anyone that will be starting solids with their babies soon.  I've never heard of it until today, but I'll be doing my research.

Just thought I would share! NIGHT!

It's harder than I thought!

Breastfeeding...way harder!  Not only did Tony break-out in hives the first few months when I fed him.  We later found out that he had a "peanut sensitivity" per his pediatrician.  He's too young to be tested for a peanut allergy, but who knew that an allergy would show through breast milk.  Now, Tony has been spitting up after feedings and I'm frazzled as to what could be causing it.  The only thing that I have changed is that I started drinking diet soda instead of regular (I'm trying to lose weight so we can try for another baby..yay!).  I've been trying to research if a baby can have an allergy to diet soda.  I was unsuccessful at finding anything helpful.
Right now, Rob is watching "Eat, Pray, Love".  It's not a horrible movie...just not my favorite.  I'm still trying to think of reasons why my poor baby could be throwing up.  I'm such a mom...lol!
